  • Manages field supervision for the coordination of the maintenance of Rail Infrastructure capital projects.  Ensures maintenance is consistent with applicable safety and maintenance codes and established standards and AREMA guidelines.
  • Represents the Infrastructure Engineering Department and NJ TRANSIT at meetings, presentations and regarding community relations issues, as required.

Requirements Overview:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Electrical Engineering or related area, or equivalent, and six (6) years of applied experience in railway signal system maintenance, to include two (2) years of managerial experience.  
  • Six (6) years of appropriate experience may be substituted for Baccalaureate Degree.

Job Summary:

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking an experienced Civil or Environmental Engineer to provide office and field engineering for a variety of remedial design and construction projects. Specifically, the role will involve a co – located assignment at our client’s Jersey City, New Jersey field office and working closely with our field staff and contractors to implement complex remediation projects. General responsibilities include providing office support to permitting, design, & project specification writing, procuring bids and managing field implementation of the design remedy, and providing construction oversight, submittal & as – builts review, while adhering to the client’s SOPs, company standards, contract, and regulatory requirements.

The project will demand substantial client interaction in technical presentations, meetings, and development of engineering work products subject to both client review and regulatory agency approval. The role will support numerous currently active projects from initial studies through the final stages of remediation, with frequent interface with Wood project teams supporting the work from our Hamilton, NJ office and Jersey City project office. The strongest candidates for this position will be considered eligible to enter Wood’s formal Project Management training system within one year of joining Wood.

The individual will report to a Senior or Principal Engineer and work closely with the Engineering & Construction lead and / or Project Manager for assigned projects

Requirements Overview:

  • BS or MS in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering or related technical field
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in civil or environmental engineering and project management
  • Ability to obtain OSHA 40 – hour HAZWOPER training is required
  • Must be a self – starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and high degree of flexibility and patience to adjust to changing work priorities
  • Strong computer skills for database work and proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible to work outside normal business hours as required
  • Willingness to travel to project sites in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania area with overnight travel

Senior Manager, GMP Audits Cell Therapy

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager GMP Audits Cell Therapy is responsible for managing the Summit (Building S12) Cell Therapy Internal Audit (Self-Inspection) Program in accordance with BMS policies, standards, procedures and global cGMPs. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for the formulation of appropriate audit programs for S12, assigning and directing staffing resources to complete the audit plan as scheduled, and supporting the Quality Management System to ensure compliance and minimize risk in a regulated Pharmaceutical environment. The Senior Manager GMP Audits Cell Therapy is also responsible for managing and motivating team members, building trust and cultivating a collaborative environment.

As a member of the Quality Assurance Organization, this position is working closely with the S12 Senior Leadership Team to identify and provide solutions to cGMP related issues and escalate them as appropriate to ensure the site remains in a state of control.

 

Requirements Overview:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of relevant Quality Assurance work experience in the pharmaceutical Industry and a minimum of 3-5 years leading GMP internal and/or external audits required.
  • Strong Leadership/Managerial Skills required.
