Shah, P.E; MBA, CHC, BSME, CHFM, FASHE, a Corporate Plant & Project Manager, and Life Safety Manager at Care Point Health in Jersey City, NJ has 34 years of extensive professional management, consulting, and academic experience in his focus areas of healthcare engineering – an area that is constantly requiring careful planning and execution of decisions for many human life and health. His success as an educator and facility engineer hardly went unnoticed- he’s been the recipient of several awards of the years.
As tenured member for over many years with several professional organizations (i.e. ASHE, ASHRAE, BSME, HFMSNJ, & more), Rajendra has influenced and educated countless plant and maintenance engineers he worked with. For four years Rajendra taught healthcare management to students at York College.
During his professional career, Rajendra directly served on many committees which developed, revised, and verified national and international codes and standards for healthcare buildings’ maintenance, plant operation, and utilities’ infrastructures. He also served on NCEES’ committee to test and reset written exam test for Mechanical Engineering applicants.
As a President and Chair of Education Committee, Rajendra leads a local chapter (HFMSNJ.org) of over 225 members from healthcare environment.
Rajendra tells that he has very curious mind and he still needs to lean and teach lot more in his life. He says that he will continue to inspire, educate, and serve to the engineering practice.
